Technology Solutions by Situation: Cameras, Doors, Wi-Fi, Network and Sensors
Unified Equipment Management
Each solution on this page applies one family of equipment to a particular kind of property or problem.
One console manages the network, Wi-Fi, security cameras, door access, phones, digital signage and sensors.
Owners and managers of hotels, rentals, restaurants, shops, offices, apartment buildings and multi-building properties can view cameras, doors and Wi-Fi at several locations from one dashboard.
Cameras, Doors and Cabling
Protect, the camera software, carries no per-camera licence, meaning recording, AI detection and remote access work at any camera count.
Camera footage is recorded on a recorder at the site by default, so footage stays on hardware the owner holds.
Third-party cameras can be adopted into the same camera software, and an AI Port adds detection to them.
Existing cabling can often be reused.
IP cameras and network jacks can run over existing coax or two-wire cable using adapters, and existing door readers and wiring can stay.
Sensors and Optional Subscriptions
Sensors on a long-range radio can report from buildings up to 2 km away in line of sight.
Optional paid items exist within the ecosystem.
Phone numbers on the Talk phone system carry a monthly subscription, and the clock-in feature needs a paid identity plan.
System Limits
Support from the manufacturer is thinner than from large enterprise vendors, so the business or its IT provider owns updates and uptime.
The system is not a fire alarm panel, and professional central-station alarm monitoring is announced but not yet available.
