What goes in

The parts an install like this is actually made of. Every one is supplied and fitted with the work.

Built on Ubiquiti UniFi — one system for the network, the cameras and the doors. See the full range.

What we install

Cat6 to every room, every camera position, every door and the garage. Access points sized to the house rather than to the floor plan. Cameras, door hardware, sensors and the gate all on one system, in one app.

New construction gets wired before the drywall. A finished house gets in-wall access points, mesh for the outbuildings, and attic and crawlspace runs.

We walk the house first. Construction decides most of it — tabby, plaster over lath, foil-backed insulation and metal roofs all change the answer.

Questions we get asked

Who actually turns up at the house?

The same small team, and the person who walked the house is the person who designs it. You are not handed to a rotating crew who have never seen the property and have to be told where everything is.

How much disruption is this?

In a finished house, most of the work happens in the attic, the crawlspace and one cupboard. The visible part is plates and mounting points. What matters is what the house looks like at the end of each day, not just at the end of the job.

Is there an ongoing agreement?

Only if you want one. The system is yours either way. Most owners keep us on call; some do not, and the house works the same.

Can this be done without tearing up finished walls?

Usually. In-wall access points reuse existing outlets, mesh units cover outbuildings, and attics and crawlspaces do most of the work. A walk of the house tells us what is realistic before anything is quoted.

Can I see it all from my phone when I'm away?

Yes — cameras, doors, who is on the Wi-Fi, and the garage, from anywhere, without exposing the equipment in your house to the open internet.

What happens when the power goes out?

The panel sits on battery backup, so the cameras keep recording and the network stays up straight through the short outages a Lowcountry summer throws at it.

Tell us about the house.

Sullivan's Island, Isle of Palms, Kiawah, Daniel Island, Mount Pleasant and downtown. Send the address and what you want covered; we walk it before we put a number on anything.
