UniFi Access handles temporary entry for offices, medical buildings, school front offices, coworking spaces, contractors, and manufacturers with regular visitors.

You send visitor invitations by email or SMS with a QR code that expires at the end of the visit.

Visitor schedules can be one-time or recurring and are limited to chosen doors, gates, or elevators.

Visitors can be limited to a single floor, door, or time window.

iPad Kiosk Mode and Printed Badges

Kiosk Mode runs on an iPad and offers an ID scan, face photo, host approval, and badge printing.

Badges print on a Brother QL-820NWB or QL-820NWBc.

The visitor's badge is a working door credential for that visit only, operating in the same system as staff access.

Additional Uses and System Evidence

Time-limited access also works for members, contractors, and guests, and for a gym replacing one shared PIN.

An integrator published a manufacturing case study of the kiosk used for industrial visitors.

Evidence for the kiosk is currently limited to a vendor demo and an integrator case study, with no end-user report found.
