Door Intercoms That Ring Staff Mobile Phones

Mobile and Remote Door Management

If you manage an office with a locked front door, a clinic, a warehouse with a delivery door, a church, or a small building, you can route visitor calls directly to your staff.

When someone rings the doorbell, the call goes to the Access app, the UniFi Endpoint app, or standard phone numbers.

Your receptionist can answer the call and unlock the door directly from their device.

The system recognizes faces, and it calls mobile phones without requiring a subscription or a landline.

Hardware Options and Phone Integration

Intercom hardware options include the G3 Intercom, the Intercom, the G3 and G2 Reader Pro, and the G6 Entry.

If your staff prefers a dedicated desk station to answer calls, an Intercom Viewer is available.

The intercom can ring a phone system your business already uses through SIP integration, covering UniFi Talk, FreePBX, FreeSWITCH, and Control4.

Installation Details and System Limits

An installer noted this as one of the easiest intercom installs after replacing an old system with a two-tenant UniFi intercom featuring indoor viewers per floor.

Before selecting this system, you should be aware of two limitations: the exterior intercom hardware is physically large, and reviewers have noted that calls to a phone take a while to connect.

Keeping doors on the fire alarm release and complying with local code remain our responsibility as your installer.
