Resident and Visitor Access
Resident credentials include a phone, Apple or Google Wallet, and NFC fobs. A deployer at a 100-resident condo recommended Touch Pass for non-technical residents. There is no passive walk-up Bluetooth unlock.
Residents can add guest passes, buzz visitors in from the app, and unlock remotely. Installers note that the intercom is large and its call to a phone is slow to connect.
Elevator and Amenity Control
The Elevator Hub and Elevator Starter Kit control up to 18 floors per hub, with per-user floor permissions and fail-safe or fail-secure operation. Visitors can be limited to one floor for one visit.
Pool, clubhouse, and package-room doors can use the same system, with schedules. Common-area cameras and building Wi-Fi sit on the same console.
Installation and Planning
A 250-unit developer was advised to plan for redundant controllers and to hire a professional. The evidence for large buildings comes from planning threads, not finished deployments.
