Technology for apartments
Private Wi-Fi, intercoms, cameras and EV charging
CloudCentric installs and supports complete network and access systems for apartment properties from Mount Pleasant and Charleston down to Savannah.
Private Wi-Fi in every unit
One network name covers your entire property. Each unit gets a unique password that isolates its devices on a private network, keeping neighbors from seeing each other's equipment. Access points sit flat on the wall and include wired ports.

Manage Internet Like A Provider
Putting a small cube in each apartment gives residents their own Wi-Fi. You operate like a small internet provider, managing every client from a single system. Residents stay on their own service plans, billed and managed entirely in one place.

Cube Per Unit
A single access point sits in each apartment, providing two Wi-Fi bands and three free wired ports for a television or console.
Billing By Plan
Residents pay recurring invoices by card through an online gateway, and you control their speed limits and service plans centrally.
Network Or Coax
We plug the cubes into Ethernet if your building has it, or feed them over your existing coax cables using adapters.
Including internet in rent
Properties may include internet in the rent for every unit, and nothing federal has banned it. A property cannot give one provider exclusive access or take exclusive or graduated revenue share.
Gate intercom and door access
Residents open doors and vehicle gates with their phones or cards. Intercoms dial a unit's residents directly, ringing an app or phone number. Administrators can set up visits for guests, movers or contractors with specific start and end times.

Unit numbers and names are an example.
Resident access
Residents open gates and doors using a phone wallet pass or card. First ten phone passes are free for a year.
Visitor passes
Administrators schedule guest visits with a set duration. Visitors receive a QR code, PIN or license plate clearance by email or text.
Gate intercoms
Intercom directories let guests dial a unit. Calls ring three resident groups in turn after ten, fifteen or twenty seconds.
Indoor and outdoor cameras
Regular cameras cover entrances, parking and the pool deck outdoors. A tiny lens under an inch wide suits lobbies, mail rooms and gyms, and is indoor only, with a cable to a hub that can sit out of sight.

EV charging for residents
EV chargers can be limited to named residents using an app or card, or opened to guests with an expiring QR code. Several chargers share one electrical supply by splitting the set amperage evenly across plugged-in cars.

Example supply: 100 amps, split evenly.
Credit card payments require a Pro charger and terminal, priced per kilowatt-hour in the United States. Chargers do not bill a named resident to their account or rent, and card payments go through a Worldpay merchant account.
Equipment lineup

Frequently asked questions
- How does a resident join the Wi-Fi and what happens when they move out?
Residents connect to the network by entering a private password. Each unit gets its own password set per unit, and no per-resident account or server is needed to manage access.
- Can neighbors see each other's devices on the network?
Private unit passwords put those specific devices on their own isolated network. Neighbors cannot see or access devices in other apartments, keeping personal equipment secure.
- Are cameras only for security?
Regular cameras cover entrances, parking and the pool deck outdoors. A tiny lens under an inch wide is indoor only and suits lobbies, mail rooms and gyms, with a cable to a hub that can sit out of sight.
- How does a guest or mover get in?
Administrators schedule a visit with a start and end time. Guests receive a QR code, PIN or license plate clearance by email or text. Visits expire automatically when the scheduled time ends.
- Can the property charge residents for EV charging?
Chargers do not bill a named resident to their account or rent. Card payments at the post work only in the United States and need the Pro charger plus a payment terminal, priced per kilowatt-hour via a Worldpay merchant account.
