Managing Screen Content
Content is edited in a web browser and appears on every screen. Several screens are managed together and can show the same or different content. Layouts can be scheduled by time of day and day of the week. Any web page can be shown, such as a wait-time board, a queue, a booking page, or a dashboard.
Hardware and Reliability
An ordinary flatscreen TV can be used for the display. A small player connects to the TV's HDMI port. The main player supports 4K resolution, web pages, and scheduled playlists, while a simpler player runs one screen with one playlist at 1080p. Content is stored locally on the player. The screens keep running on the last schedule if the internet goes down, and they return to the right content after a power cut.
