Service Region: Charleston to Savannah

Our Coverage Area

CloudCentric is based in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. The service region runs along the coast from Charleston through Beaufort, Bluffton and Hilton Head Island to Savannah, Georgia. We operate as a service-area business: work is done at the customer's site, and there is no walk-in office or shop counter. You can reach us at (844) 422-7000.

The same work is offered across the whole region: networks and Wi-Fi, security cameras, door and gate access, phone systems, managed IT and Microsoft 365.

Multi-Site Management and Remote IT Teams

We set up systems so that one console manages the network, cameras, doors and phones at every site, so a company with locations in both Charleston and Savannah sees them in one place. Companies whose IT department sits elsewhere, or out of state, can use CloudCentric for on-site work: site surveys, cabling and installs, hardware swaps and new-office setup.

The region crosses a state line, so work in Savannah and Chatham, Bryan and Effingham counties falls under Georgia law, and the rest under South Carolina law.

Environmental Factors and Local Permitting

Much of the region is low-lying coast with salt air, storm surge and flood maps that decide where equipment is mounted in a building.

Historic districts in Savannah, Beaufort and Charleston review exterior changes, which affects where antennas, cameras and outdoor equipment can be mounted. Additionally, each town in the region sets its own short-term rental rules: Savannah, Hilton Head Island, the City of Beaufort and the City of Charleston all require a permit or certificate, with different caps and conditions.

Regional Infrastructure and Facilities

The region holds two of the busiest container ports on the East Coast: the Port of Charleston, run by SC Ports, and the Port of Savannah, run by the Georgia Ports Authority. Wando Welch Terminal, one of the Port of Charleston's container terminals, sits in Mount Pleasant. Garden City Terminal in Savannah is the largest single-terminal container operation in the Western Hemisphere, according to the Georgia Ports Authority.

In addition to heavy industry, Beaufort County is home to three military installations: Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island and Naval Hospital Beaufort.
