Apple device management
Apple device management for coastal businesses
Macs, iPhones and iPads enrolled, encrypted and kept up to date from one console, for businesses from Charleston to Savannah.

Microsoft Intune console
Apple MDM runs through Microsoft Intune
Apple MDM is the name for managing the whole device. CloudCentric runs it with Microsoft Intune, the same service that manages Windows PCs, so Macs, iPhones and iPads sit in one console.
- 1
New devices arrive set up
Automated device enrollment from Apple Business Manager prepares devices out of the box.
- 2
Company data stays protected
Macs receive disk encryption, and work-app protection keeps company files secure on personal phones.
- 3
Lost or leaving
Missing devices accept a wipe request on check-in, and departing staff keep personal data while company data is removed.
Coastal businesses using Macs and iPhones
Professional offices and local businesses rely on Apple hardware. Device management controls work apps, encrypts disks and secures company data across town or on construction sites.

Questions and answers
- What does Apple device management include?
Mobile device management enrolls the whole device and manages its settings, security and apps. Company devices receive automated enrollment, application deployment, compliance policies and disk encryption.
- Can Macs and iPhones be managed from the same console as Windows PCs?
Microsoft Intune manages Android, iOS, iPadOS, macOS and Windows devices from one web console, the Microsoft Intune admin center. No on-premises server is needed.
- What is automated device enrollment and what does it need?
Automated device enrollment prepares new or wiped devices out of the box. It needs an Apple token from Apple Business Manager and the Apple MDM push certificate in Intune.
- How is a Mac encrypted and what happens to the recovery key?
Intune configures FileVault on macOS. Intune retrieves and backs up the recovery key, called escrow, so administrators with the right role can view and rotate the key if needed.
- What happens when an iPhone is lost, or an employee leaves a business with personal phones?
Lost company devices receive a factory reset wipe. Departing staff with personal phones keep their personal data, while an app selective wipe removes only company data from work apps.
- Does CloudCentric need to see personal photos or messages on a personal iPhone?
Work apps and their data are managed, and personal apps and content stay with the person.
